Bus Parking / Lynn Cottrell Park
All team transportation should drop off in front of the UNG Indoor Practice Facility as soon as you turn into Lynn Cottrell Park off Barlow Road. The bus should then turn around and park in the coned off area in the upper parking lot facing out.
Locker Room Facilties
If locker room facilities are desired by the visiting team prior to or after the game,
please contact a member of the event staff noted above prior to your trip. Visiting team locker/meeting/shower facilities are located in Memorial Hall on the main campus and require ground transportation from Lynn Cottrell Park. If you choose to shower after a match, you must provide your own towels.
Once your team has arrived at Lynn Cottrell Park, the only team restrooms are the public restrooms located in the UNG Soccer Field House. Please ensure that your players do not use alternative locations as the restroom.
Team Benches
When facing the stadium, the visiting team bench is on the left side of the midfield "treehouse."
Team Video Equipment
Tracking hardware for teams can be set up either in front of or in the "treehouse."
Doubleheader Match Times
The second game of a doubleheader will start either 1) at officially scheduled match time, or 2) 35:00 after the field has been cleared following the first match – whichever allows for a longer warm up for the second game.
Pregame Event Timing
• The pregame announcements, starting lineups and National Anthem will take place while the clock is still actively counting down per NCAA Championship protocols. The field should be clear of all warmups at the 10:00 double horn.
• Starting lineups will be done International style. The two lines should follow the match referees to midfield as the
“Ladies and Gentlemen …” announcements begin. Reserves and coaches are asked to line up on the sideline in front of their respective benches.
• A National Anthem will be played/sung before
EVERY match, including the second game of a doubleheader. The Anthem will come immediately after the home team starting 11 are announced.
• Halftime will last 15:00. Any on-field halftime promotions will be completed with a minimum of 5:00 remaining on the countdown clock.
National Anthem(s)
As one of six senior military colleges in the country, UNG is proud to have the National Anthem played/sung before
ALL games. The National Anthem will occur immediately after the North Georgia team has lined up in front of the first base dugout. If the Colors are presented in person by UNG’s Boar’s Head Brigade Color Guard, everyone is asked to remain at attention until the Colors have marched off the field.
