Location: UNG Gainesville Campus - 3820 Mundy Mill Road, Oakwood, Georgia 30503
Distances: The UNG Cross Country Invitational will be run as a 6K race for women and an 8K race for men.
Start Times: Women (6K) at 8:15 a.m. followed by Men (8K) 9:00 a.m.
Entry Fee: $150 per team, women and men are separate teams. Total for any school is $300. Cost is $25 for individuals and unattached runners. Please make checks payable to UNG Women’s Cross Country.
Entry: All entries should be completed online through Direct Athletics at DirectAthletics.com. Registration closes on Tuesday, September 25 at 11:59 p.m.
Course Information: The course is all grass and dirt and is considered “flat and fast." This meet will be run on the University of North Georgia Cross Country Course, which was home to the 2015 Peach Belt Conference Championship and the 2018 NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Cross Country Southeast Regional.
Timing: The UNG Invitational will be timed by Perfect Timing Group (Perfect Timing) and results will be loaded to TFRRS immediately following both races. Timing will include FinishLynx video services as well as live results online and in-venue.
Scoring: Unlimited entries for men and women—only top seven runners will score. Any runner outside of a team’s top seven will not be counted in the score, but will receive an official finishing time. NCAA rules will apply.
Live Broadcast: Both races and the awards ceremony will be streamed live using multiple cameras and live audio on the Nighthawk Sports Network on both YouTube and Facebook.
Awards: Trophies will be given to the top two men and women teams and t-shirts will be issued to the top ten men and women finishers competing with a team. The awards ceremony will take place at the amphitheater following the completion of the men's race.
Restrooms: The UNG Cross Country Course has portable restrooms, but no changing facilities (locker rooms).
Parking: Complimentary parking is located in the lots and parking garage above the start and finish line. UNG Public Safety will be on site to direct traffic.
Packet Pick Up: Packets are available on race day beginning at 7:15 a.m. at the amphitheater.
