DAHLONEGA – University of North Georgia (UNG) men's golfer Ashton Eubanks has been named this week's Nighthawk of the Week following his record-breaking performance at UNG's 5^th Annual Lake Lanier Collegiate Classic.

Eubanks claimed individual medalist honors after finishing at 18-under-par 192, setting a tournament scoring record and breaking UNG's program record for a 54-hole score. His 18-under-par total came after rounds of 65, 63 and 64.

The Nighthawk of the Week title sponsor is Chick-fil-A of Dahlonega, with each week's winner receiving a complimentary combo meal at the Dahlonega restaurant. Located at 488 Morrison Moore Parkway East, Chick-fil-A is proud to give back to the local community and serve as a community partner with UNG Athletics.

Beginning in the fall of 2014, UNG Athletics has honored one student-athlete each Monday morning as the Nighthawk of the Week. The award is selected each Sunday evening by a committee made up of members of the UNG Athletics leadership team.
