GAINESVILLE – The University of North Georgia (UNG) women's cross country team placed fourth among 13 teams Friday at the UNG Cross Country Invitational, finishing with a combined team time of 1:41:59.

Georgia Southern claimed the team title with a combined time of 1:34:49, while the Eagles also had the individual winner, who finished in 18:08.9.

Aubrey Dishman paced the Nighthawks, finishing 10th overall with a time of 19:44.4. Tessie Braman followed in 14th at 19:53.7, while Harleigh Smith crossed the finish line 21st in 20:15.7.

Alex Allen placed 32nd with a time of 20:57.0, and Abby Tillman rounded out North Georgia's scoring five in 35th at 21:08.2.

Natalie Long finished 57th in 22:55.0, followed by Emily Baars in 59th at 23:19.4.

The Nighthawks return to action Sept. 25 at the Peach Belt Conference Preview Meet in Macon, Georgia.
