DAHLONEGA – Two University of North Georgia (UNG) women's track and field student-athletes have been recognized for their accomplishments in the classroom, earning selection to the 2025-26 Peach Belt Conference Women's Track & Field All-Academic Team.
Previously known as the Team of Academic Distinction, the All-Academic Team is part of the Peach Belt Conference's initiative to recognize student-athletes who excel both academically and athletically.
Representing North Georgia on this year's team are Emma Kay Beauchamp and Aubrey Dishman.
Beauchamp, a sophomore from Jefferson, Georgia, carries a 3.84 cumulative grade-point average while majoring in accounting. Dishman, a sophomore from Carrollton, Georgia, owns a 3.67 GPA and is majoring in English with a literature concentration.
To qualify for the PBC All-Academic Team, student-athletes must participate in at least half of their team's competitions as a starter or significant contributor, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher on a 4.0 scale and be at least a sophomore academically and athletically. Transfer student-athletes are immediately eligible once they meet the established criteria.
North Georgia's two selections continue the Nighthawks' tradition of excellence in the classroom, highlighting the program's commitment to success both in competition and in academics.
