NORMAN, Okla. – University of North Georgia (UNG) men's golfer Hunter Smith has been named to the NCAA DII PING All-America Third Team, as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).

Smith earned the honor after a strong 2025-26 campaign in which he consistently led the Nighthawks throughout the season.

In addition to his All-American selection, Smith was also named to the Peach Belt Conference All-Conference First Team.

The senior posted multiple top-10 finishes during the year, including a fifth-place finish at the Copperhead Championship and Tennessee River Rumble. He also finished sixth at the Savannah Lakes Men's Fall Invitational, seventh at the LMU Spring Kickoff Intercollegiate and tied for ninth at the Argonaut Invitational.

Smith added another top-10 performance at the UNG Mizuno Intercollegiate, finishing tied for 10th.

At the NCAA Division II South/Southeast Regional, Smith paced the Nighthawks with a top-20 individual finish.
