INDIANAPOLIS – The No. 11 University of North Georgia (UNG) men's golf team has been selected to compete in the NCAA Division II South/Southeast Regional, the NCAA national office announced Sunday.

The 20 teams and eight individuals will compete at Valdosta Country Club in Valdosta, Georgia, one of four regional sites nationwide. Play is scheduled for May 7-9.

North Georgia earned the No. 5 seed in the Southeast Region after recording five top-five finishes this season, including a victory at the Savannah Lakes Fall Invitational.

The selection marks the sixth consecutive NCAA postseason appearance for the Nighthawks under head coach Bryson Worley.
