CLEVELAND, Tenn. – The University of North Georgia (UNG) women's track team turned in several solid performances Saturday on day two of the Lee Fast Break Athletics Invitational.
In the 400 meters, Harleigh Smith recorded a top 20 finish with a time of 1:09.17, while Elizabeth Padilla Brun posted a time of 1:23.72.
North Georgia saw a strong showing in the 800 meters, led by Aubrey Dishman's time of 2:19.07. Ahna Hicks followed at 2:22.13, with Natalie Long (2:23.17), Tessie Braman (2:24.13) and Jordan Starling (2:27.22) all finishing closely behind. Erin O'Brien (2:35.29) and Teagan Lamp (2:38.45) rounded out the Nighthawks' efforts in the event.
In the 4x400-meter relay, the quartet of Long, Dishman, Braman and Hicks placed ninth with a time of 4:16.49.
North Georgia returns to action April 18 at the Mountain Laurel Open in Sewanee, Tennessee.
