DAHLONEGA – University of North Georgia (UNG) pitcher Chloe Poss has been named Peach Belt Conference Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season after a dominant week in the circle.
 
Poss made two appearances for the No. 5 Nighthawks, posting a 2-0 record with a 1.08 ERA. She opened the week with three innings of work in a 13-1 victory over Lander, allowing just one hit while striking out two and holding opponents to a .100 batting average.
 
She followed with a 10-inning complete game in a 3-2 win over Lander to secure the series victory. In the outing, Poss struck out 10 while allowing just two runs on eight hits, limiting opponents to a .211 batting average.
 
On the season, Poss leads the PBC in wins (15) and strikeouts looking (33). She ranks second in opponent batting average (.203), innings pitched (103.2) and total strikeouts (86).
 
North Georgia returns to action March 24 with a nonconference doubleheader against Shorter at Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium.
