DAHLONEGA - University of North Georgia (UNG) guard AJ White has been named to the 2025-26 Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-Southeast Region First Team, recognizing one of the top seasons by a player in the region.
White earned the honor after leading the Nighthawks and the Peach Belt Conference in scoring, averaging 19.9 points per game while appearing in 29 games with 26 starts and logging 33.1 minutes per contest.
The senior also led North Georgia and the conference with an .891 free-throw percentage, continuing a highly efficient offensive season that helped power the Nighthawks throughout the year.
During the 2025-26 campaign, White surpassed the 2,000-point mark for his career, becoming one of the program's most prolific scorers. He has also been part of the winningest four-year stretch in program history for the Nighthawks.
For his performance this season, White was also named a First Team All-Peach Belt Conference selection and continues to receive national recognition. He is currently on the watch lists for the Trevor Hudgins Award, presented to the top player in NCAA Division II men's basketball, and the Bevo Francis Award, which honors the best player in small college basketball.
White and the Nighthawks will next turn their attention to postseason play, as North Georgia enters the NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Tournament as the No. 5 seed in the Southeast Regional and will face No. 4 seed Lenoir-Rhyne on Saturday.
