DAHLONEGA - Due to forecasted inclement weather, the University of North Georgia (UNG) Department of Athletics has announced several schedule adjustments for this weekend's events.

The Gold City Classic presented by Mizuno will now be contested Friday and Saturday. Softball opens tournament play Friday, Feb. 13, against Northwood at 3:30 p.m., followed by a matchup with Barry at 6:00. Action resumes Saturday, Feb. 14, with UNG facing Barry at 1:30 p.m. and Northwood at 4:00.

Nighthawk baseball will open Peach Belt Conference play at Georgia College & State University as scheduled on Friday, Feb. 13, at 5:00 p.m. The series will conclude with a Saturday doubleheader beginning at 1:00 on Feb. 14.

Men's tennis vs. Emmanuel has been moved up to Friday, Feb. 13, at 2:00 p.m., while the women's match at Erskine remains scheduled for Saturday in Due West, S.C. The Feb. 15 men's and women's home matches against Auburn Montgomery have been pushed back a day and will now be played Monday (Feb. 16) at 2:00 p.m. at the UNG Tennis Complex at Yahoola Creek Park.
