DAHLONEGA – University of North Georgia (UNG) women's cross country runner Allie Wardle has been named the Peach Belt Conference (PBC) Runner of the Week following her performance at the USC Upstate Invitational.

Wardle clocked a season-best time of 18:44.8 in the 5-kilometer race, leading all Peach Belt Conference competitors at the meet. Her time also ranks as the third-fastest 5K performance in the conference this season.

The Nighthawks set their sights on the PBC Championship on November 7. The 5K race is set to be hosted by Middle Georgia at the Georgia Premier Cross Country Course in Macon, Georgia.
