DAHLONEGA – The University of North Georgia (UNG) Department of Athletics announced several schedule changes for this weekend's events.
The home basketball Peach Belt Conference doubleheader against Clayton State, originally scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 31, has been moved to Monday, Feb. 2, at Lynn Cottrell Arena inside the UNG Convocation Center. The women's game will tip off at 5:30 p.m., followed by the men's contest at 8 p.m.
The home tennis exhibition against Georgia Gwinnett has been moved up from Jan. 31 and will now be played today (Jan. 30), at 1 p.m. at the UNG Tennis Complex at Yahoola Creek Park.
UNG softball has also adjusted its schedule for the Gulf Shores Invitational. Games originally slated for Saturday, Jan. 31, and Sunday, Feb. 1, will now be played today and Sunday. North Georgia will face Northeastern State at noon and Union (Tenn.) at 4:15 p.m. today and will square off against Florida Tech and Delta State on Sunday.
There are no changes to the baseball schedule, as the Nighthawks will open the 2026 season tonight at Embry-Riddle, with first pitch of the three-game series set for 6 p.m.
