DAHLONEGA – The University of North Georgia (UNG) men's tennis program announced its spring schedule as the Nighthawks prepare for the 2026 season under first-year head coach Justin Miles.
UNG returns to the courts following a historic 2025 campaign in which the Nighthawks posted a 14-8 overall record and finished third in the Peach Belt Conference regular season. UNG advanced to the PBC Tournament championship match and capped the year with a run to the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16, the deepest postseason finish in program history.
The Nighthawks will open the spring slate at home on Feb. 4, welcoming Newberry to the UNG Tennis Complex at Yahoola Creek.
UNG is set to host the 3rd Annual Scenic City College Tennis Spring Break Showcase at the Champions Club Tennis Complex at Rivermont Park in Chattanooga, Tenn. During the showcase, the Nighthawks will face Lee on March 9, Indianapolis on March 11 and UT Tyler on March 12.
Conference play begins March 16, as UNG hosts Augusta in its Peach Belt opener. The Nighthawks will continue league action through late March and early April, with their final home match scheduled for April 12 against Georgia College.
UNG will close the regular season on the road with conference matches at Columbus State and Middle Georgia.
The Peach Belt Conference Tournament is scheduled for April 24-26 in Columbus, Ga. All conference teams will qualify, with the tournament contested in a single-elimination format.
