DAHLONEGA – The University of North Georgia Department of Athletics has announced its full promotional schedule for the 2025 men's and women's soccer seasons.
There will be 17 regular season home games hosted inside Lynn Cottrell Park this fall, with the first opportunity to catch both teams in action in the season opener on Thursday, Sept. 4 when the UNG women's team takes on Wingate at 4:30 p.m., followed by the men's team against Coker at 7 p.m. Additionally, the men's soccer team will play a neutral site game in nearby Gainesville on Thursday, Sept. 11 at 5 p.m. against Tampa.
Season tickets for both the men's and women's programs are on sale now. Women's season tickets can be purchased for the 9 home contests for $80, and for $70 for the men's 8 home games.
This fall, UNG Athletics will also host several promotional nights throughout the soccer season. More detailed information on giveaways and promotions will be made available on social media closer to the scheduled event.
Thursday, Sept. 4 – Soccer Doubleheader (Women vs. Wingate, Men vs. Coker) – Blue Out Game

Thursday, Sept. 11 – Men's Soccer vs. Tampa – Hosted in Gainesville
The Nighthawks will take the field against Tampa in Gainesville at The Stadium at Allen Creek Soccer Complex at 5 p.m. In collaboration with UNG's Gainesville campus, blue t-shirts will be provided for the first 75 Gainesville students along with more giveaways throughout the game!
Wednesday, Sept. 17 – Soccer Doubleheader (Women vs. LMU, Men vs. Lander) – Fall Spirit Night
Fall Spirit Night is a signature event every fall for the entire UNG campus. During halftime of the Men's game, the annual Fall Spirit Awards will be announced.
Saturday, Sept. 20 – Women's Soccer vs. USC Beaufort – UNG Family Weekend + Nigel's Kids Club Event
UNG's family weekend is a fall highlight every September that the entire campus community looks forward to. Enjoy a tailgate ahead and the soccer doubleheader by
registering today for the Family Weekend festivities!
In addition to Family Day, the first
Nigel's Kids Club special event will take place during the day. Members of Nigel's Kids Club will receive more communication regarding the event details.
Saturday, Sept. 27 – Men's Soccer vs. USC Aiken – Fan Appreciation Day
Fan Appreciation Day is a way for Nighthawk Athletics to say "thank you" to those who always show up to cheer the Nighthawks on. There will be giveaways happening throughout the day, plus the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee will be hosting two Make-A-Wish raffles for exclusive North Georgia soccer gear and a Basketball season ticket package.
Wednesday, Oct. 1 – Women's Soccer vs. Columbus State – Military Appreciation Day
In partnership with the Boar's Head Brigade Corps of Cadets, Nighthawk Athletics is proud to recognize active and retired Military members throughout the day.
Saturday, Oct. 4 – Men's Soccer vs. Flagler – Nigel's Kids Club Special Event Day

Wednesday, Oct. 8 – Women's Soccer vs. Albany State – Pink our for Breast Cancer Awareness
In partnership with Northeast Georgia Health Systems, the women's soccer team will host its second annual Pink Out game for Breast Cancer Awareness. NGHS will be on site with informational tabling along with several different pink out theme giveaways.
Wednesday, Oct. 15 – Women's Soccer vs. Catawba – Residence Life Night
All UNG students are encouraged to gather your neighbors from your residence hall and come out for Res Life Night to show your hall's school spirit!
Saturday, Oct. 18 – Women's Soccer vs. Middle Georgia – Senior Night
Join the women's soccer program and their families to honor the senior class of 2025!
Wednesday, Oct. 22 – Soccer Doubleheader (Men vs. Clayton State, Women vs. GCSU) – Black Out Game + Youth Soccer Night
Arrive early to claim your black t-shirt and help paint the stands black for a blackout theme game to cheer on the Nighthawks!
UNG invites its local youth soccer teams to cheer on the Nighthawks. Kids will receive free entry into the UNG Soccer Complex with their jersey and a select few will walk out with the starters.
