DAHLONEGA – The Division 2 Athletics Directors Association (D2 ADA) announced the 2024-25 recipients of the D2 ADA Academic Achievement Awards. The Academic Achievement Awards is a program that recognizes the academic accomplishments of student-athletes at the Division II level in NCAA sponsored sports. The University of North Georgia (UNG) had 59 student-athletes earn the award this year.
To qualify for the honor, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale, have attended a minimum of two years (four semesters) of college level work and have been an active member of an intercollegiate team during his/her last
academic year
Student-athletes from all 12 DII sports were honored this year. Women's soccer (9), baseball (7), softball (7), women's track & field (7), women's basketball (6), women's cross country (6), women's golf (5), men's soccer (5), men's golf (2), men's basketball (2), men's tennis (1) and women's tennis (1) and each had student-athletes earn the award.
