UPDATE: Presales are closed. A limited quantity and sizes of first-come-first-served t-shirts will be for sale at the event on Dec. 10 while supplies last.
DAHLONEGA – With the Historic Memorial Hall Throwback Night just over a week away, the University of North Georgia (UNG) athletic department has launched a limited-time flash sale on exclusive retro-themed t-shirts commemorating the event.
For the first time since February 2018, the University of North Georgia basketball teams will return to historic Memorial Hall, hosting Columbus State on Wednesday, Dec. 10 for an inaugural Throwback Game. The women's contest is scheduled to tip off at 5:30, followed by the men's game at 8 p.m.
The special edition shirts, featuring a distressed version of the old Saints logo, are available for $15 each now through 11:59 p.m. tomorrow (Dec. 3). Fans can purchase the shirts online with pricing set at a special throwback rate during the flash sale window and can chose to have shipped or picked up at the game.
The last intercollegiate games in Memorial Hall took place on Feb. 18, 2018, when more than 1,300 fans packed the stands for Spirit Night as the Nighthawks split a doubleheader with Clayton State. The following week, the UNG women's team christened the new UNG Convocation Center with a 105–52 victory over Georgia Southwestern.
Single-game general admission tickets are valid for both contests and can be purchased
here. Due to the building's limited capacity, fans are encouraged to buy tickets early to guarantee a seat. A limited number of standing-room-only tickets will also be available.
