AUGUSTA, Ga. – University of North Georgia women's soccer player Grace McGill has been named the Peach Belt Conference's Defender of the Week for the second time this season as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon. 

The junior defender scored a goal in each game this week as the fifth-ranked Nighthawks won both matches to improve their record to 9-0-1, 5-0-0 PBC.

McGill scored the opening goal in a 3-2 victory over Columbus State, while holding the Cougars to just six shots on target. She then scored the opening goal in a 2-1 road win at Lander as the Nighthawks held the Bearcats to just five shots on frame.
 
McGill and the fifth-ranked Nighthawks return to action on Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 5:00 p.m. when Albany State comes to town for a Peach Belt Conference matchup.
