DAHLONEGA -- Projected inclement weather in the northeast Georgia region has forced the University of North Georgia (UNG) to make a time modification to this weekend's baseball home opening series against Lincoln Memorial.
Originally scheduled for 3 p.m., the game has been pushed back to 6 p.m. to allow for projected rainstorms to move through the area.
As a result of Friday's delayed start, UNG has also decided to push back the start times of both games of Saturday's scheduled doubleheader. Originally scheduled for 12 p.m. and 4 p.m., each game has been moved back one hour to 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.
Fans are encouraged to keep checking game schedules on UNGAthletics.com and all Nighthawk social media channels for up-to-the-minute updates regarding scheduled events, game times and to purchase tickets.
