SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The No. 19 University of North Georgia picked up a dominant win against Wofford 4635-3157 in Spartanburg, S.C. on Saturday.
The Nighthawks have now topped their opponent in five of eight competitions this season and in both outings so far in 2025.
UNG shined with six of the top 10 individuals on the overall leaderboard. Junior
Maya Cameron led the way with an aggregate score 1,160 points as she connected on 62 centers.
In the Smallbore discipline, it was freshman
Brianna Walter who made headlines with 27 centers and a 583 score to lead all shooters.
Sophomore
Corbin Jockers also performed well in Smallbore with 27 centers of his own and a total score of 575.

Courtney Allison hit the most centers in Smallbore of anybody in the competition with 30 as she added up a score of 573 points.
In Air Rifle, Cameron had an outstanding day with a total score of 491 as she hit the center a whopping 41 times to lead the match.
Allison followed with a 584 and 30 centers and Jockers was not far behind with a 581 and the second-most centers at 38.
Jockers had an outstanding day in the aggregate, totaling 65 centers between the two disciplines, the most of any shooter. He added up a combined score of 1,156 to finish fourth on the aggregate leaderboard.
Allison came in one point ahead of Jockers at 1,157 with 60 centers. Walter finished second behind the aforementioned Cameron with a score of 1,159 as she hit 57 centers in total.
The Nighthawks now have a quick turnaround as they prepare to face their toughest competition of the season. Tomorrow, Sunday, Jan. 26 UNG welcomes No. 3 Kentucky to the COL Raymond C. Hamilton Rifle Range in Dahlonega, Ga. for its final home match of the year.

Lindsey Slaten against the Wildcats. The match begins in the morning and will conclude around noon and is to be followed by a Senior Day celebration outside the range.
