Jolie Lester has been named as a recipient of the award, becoming North Georgia's first winner in program history.
Lester has dazzled in the outfield for the Nighthawks this season, recording 78 putouts and no errors for a 1.000 fielding percentage. The sophomore outfielder from Fayetteville, Ga. is one of two gold glove recipients out of nine winners within all of NCAA DII without an error this season.
Lester's defensive prowess comes along with featuring as the leadoff hitter for one of the nation's top offenses. Hitting .389 on the season and scoring 56 runs.
