Baseball (19-15, 10-11)

The Nighthawks will host Anderson (17-19) for the second time this season on Tuesday (Apr. 4) before a three-game home Peach Belt Conference series against Flagler (11-21, 7-11 PBC) beginning on Friday (Apr. 7). The Nighthawks fell in their first matchup against Anderson this season, dropping an 8-3 result.

North Georgia finished last week with three wins and one loss, taking their lone loss of the week in the second game of the series against Georgia College.

#8 Women's Tennis (10-3, 3-0 PBC) & #21 Men's Tennis (6-5, 1-1 PBC)

The Nighthawks will look to play their Peach Belt Conference matchup against Flagler, hoping to hold off the rain for a Tuesday match at the UNG Tennis Complex at Yahoola Creek. The Flagler women are ranked fifth by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) while the Flagler men are the 23rd-ranked team.

The men defeated Augusta, wrapping up a weather postponed match versus the Jaguars while the women took care of business in their PBC match against Georgia Southwestern.

#1 Softball (37-1, 18-0 PBC)

The Nighthawks swept Young Harris on the road, finding a way to win each game in a tight series throughout.

North Georgia will face their toughest test yet, facing fifth-ranked Alabama-Huntsville (28-5) on Tuesday (Apr. 4). The midweek showdown precedes a Peach Belt Conference series against Columbus State (28-11, 13-2) at Carolyn and Haines Hill Stadium at Lynn Cottrell Park.
 

Track & Field

The Nighthawks head back to Lee University to race in the Flames Invitational at the Ray Conn Sports Complex. The event will be the second consecutive event hosted by Lee as the Nighthawks wrapped up the Lee Invitational just two weeks ago. 

Women's Golf

The University of North Georgia women's golf team is set to host eight teams beginning today (Apr. 3) in a unique Bracket Challenge medal match play event at Chimney Oaks Golf Club.

The event field features all eight teams ranked in the top-50 in the latest GolfStat ranking and include two teams ranked in WGCA NCAA Division II top-25 with No. 6 Findlay and No. 12 Lee.

The medal match play event kicks off with quarterfinal matches beginning at 8:00 a.m. followed by the semifinals in the afternoon. Tuesday will feature the four final matches to determine the inaugural champion.
