DAHLONEGA – After a 4-0 week, going 2-0 in singles matches and 2-0 in doubles matches,
Viktorie Wojcikova has been named the Chick-fil-A Nighthawk of the Week award.
Wojcikova began the week against North Greenville, pairing up with doubles partner
Johanna Lippert to take a 6-2 victory in doubles before Wojcikova breezed to a 6-2, 6-0 win in the singles portion.
Two days later, the Nighthawks picked up a massive win over 25th-ranked Columbus State as Wojcikova and Lippert took a 6-0 win in doubles to help UNG take a crucial 1-0 lead.
Wojcikova then picked up her biggest win of the week, finishing a 6-4, 6-2 result over the 47th-ranked tennis player in NCAA Division II in the #1 singles flight to pick up another point for the Nighthawks in their 4-3 victory over the Cougars.

Beginning in the fall of 2014, the UNG athletic department began honoring one student-athlete each Monday morning as the Nighthawk of the Week. The award is chosen each Sunday evening by an award selection committee made up of members of the UNG athletics administrative staff.
