#23 MEN'S BASKETBALL (20-4, 13-3 PBC)

North Georgia took two games last week, sliding past Young Harris 73-71 and Columbus State 92-81. The Nighthawks have their final two regular season games this week, facing Augusta (21-5, 12-4) and USC Aiken (19-7, 12-4).

Augusta sits in a tie for second place in the Peach Belt Conference. The Jaguars defeated UNG in their first matchup this season. The 80-76 loss was the last UNG loss before beginning their six game win streak.

Following the game against Augusta, North Georgia will face USC Aiken on the road. The Pacers sit in a tie with Augusta for second place in the conference. North Georgia was defeated by USC Aiken, 79-78, falling to a last second jumper.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL (16-7, 8-6 PBC)

The Nighthawks will face Augusta (17-9, 10-6) and USC Aiken (16-10, 10-6) to close the regular season. North Georgia defeated Columbus State on the road last Saturday but fell to Young Harris on Wednesday.

Augusta defeated the Nighthawks in their first matchup this season 72-61, using a 29-point fourth quarter to grab the victory. Augusta sits in a three-way tie for the second in the PBC.

USC Aiken ended a three-game losing streak to North Georgia in the first matchup in their 77-74 road victory. USCA sits in the three-way tie for second place with Augusta and Clayton State.

Baseball (4-5)

North Georgia will look to bounce back from a series loss against USC Aiken in their weekend Peach Belt Conference series against Young Harris (9-2, 3-0).

Young Harris is coming off a three-game series sweep over Augusta. North Georgia swept the Mountain Lions last season, with two of the three games going to extra innings.

#10/11 Tennis

Men's (3-1) and women's (4-0) tennis will split up, with the women heading to the ITA Indoor Team Championships for the first time in program history. The men will begin Peach Belt Conference action on Tuesday against Augusta (5-0) before facing Presbyterian (4-6) on Sunday. 

On Friday, the women will begin their trip to the ITA Indoor Team Championships with a match against the No. 8 University of Central Oklahoma.

#3 Softball (10-1)

No. 3 North Georgia cruised to a 4-0 weekend earning three shutouts in four wins in two doubleheader sweeps against UNC Pembroke and Lake Erie College. 

The Nighthawks will have a midweek versus West Georgia (2-8, 1-2) before beginning Peach Belt Conference play against USC Beaufort (5-4) with a Saturday doubleheader.

Women's Golf

The Nighthawks open up the 2023 spring slate by playing in the Lady Mocs Classic hosted by Florida Southern. The tournament features 18 teams and 22 individuals for a field of 112 players.

The event will be a 54-hole event with 36-holes on Monday and 18 holes Tuesday. The tournament will be played at the Grasslands Golf and Country Club in Lakeland, Fla.
