DAHLONEGA – A pair of early season weekend home tournaments compliment a full slate of Peach Belt Conference games and highlight the University of North Georgia softball team's 2024 game schedule as released on Monday.

Head coach Mike Davenport's team opens the season on Feb. 2-4 with six games the Gulf Shores Invitational before returning to Dahlonega for a 16-game homestand.

Nighthawk fans looking to get their first home glimpse of the defending NCAA Division II National Champions will get that opportunity on Friday, Feb. 9 when the Nighthawks host the Captain D's Surf 'n Turf Classic at Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium at Lynn Cottrell Park.

In that stretch of consecutive home games, UNG will open Peach Belt Conference play with a three-game series on Feb. 24-25 against USC Beaufort in North Georgia's quest for its 10^th consecutive conference championship.
