DAHLONEGA - The No. 22 University of North Georgia men's tennis team made quick work of Georgia College Monday afternoon, shutting out the Bobcats, 7-0, at the UNG Tennis Complex at Yahoola Creek.

Doubles play went quickly with all three duos for UNG easing to victory. Ryan Gaskin and Kevin Candido took No. 1 while Zach Waldow and Joaquin Benoit won No. 2, both with 6-1 score lines. Jared Bones and Giulio Sassi finished off the sweep of doubles with a 6-3 win on the third line.

Singles went as quickly as Waldow took a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 3, finishing shortly before Benoit's 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 2 singles. Gaskin's 6-0, 6-2 win on the top line clinched the match for North Georgia, but as the Nighthawks went after the sweep, Sassi took a 6-1, 6-4 win on the fourth line.
