Men's Basketball Edges Coker, 67-60

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. - Kody Shubert put up a game-high 19 points as the University of North Georgia men's basketball team took down Coker Saturday, 67-60, in the final day of the Tri-Conference Challenge, hosted by Georgia College.

The Cobras jumped out to a seven point lead, but UNG answered with a 6-0 run in less than a minute to cut the lead back down to a single point early in the first half. UNG took their first lead of the game at the 11:45 mark of the first half on a Shubert three and then, after Coker hit a three, Shubert hit another shot from distance that gave UNG the lead for good.

NOTES
- North Georgia swept their way through the challenge, marking the second time in as many seasons that the Nighthawks have done so.

- Shubert's 19 points came on 6-of-13 shooting. Frank Champion was a rebound shy of a double-double, putting up 17 points and nine boards.

- UNG went 21-for-29 from the charity stripe. Coker was 10-for-18.
