AIKEN, S.C. - The University of North Georgia men's basketball team fell Saturday on the road at USC Aiken, 88-59. The Nighthawks drop to 1-1 on the season.

North Georgia briefly led in the game after Josh Cottrell hit a three pointer in the first 90 seconds, but the Pacers responded with a 12-0 run to take hold of the lead for good.

USC Aiken went on another 12-0 run late in the first half and extended their lead to as many as 36 on multiple occasions in the second half as the Pacers shot nearly 52 percent from the floor in the contest.

NOTES
- Darnell Snyers led UNG with 13 points off the bench, while Caleb Mauldin came in to the game and put up 12 in 12 minutes of action.

- USCA was led by Latreavin Black with 19 points and 13 boards.

- The Pacers were 12-for-26 from behind the three point line, while UNG was 5-for-19.
