YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. - Zach Brown finished with a team-high 14 points as the University of North Georgia men's basketball team fell to Young Harris Wednesday night, 81-60, in Peach Belt Conference action.
The Mountain Lions led the whole way, jumping out to an 8-0 lead before the under-16 media timeout. North Georgia cut the lead down to six on multiple occasions, including on back-to-back three pointers by 
Kody Shubert and 
Josh Cottrell with just under five minutes to play until halftime, but YHC answered each time to stall any momentum from UNG.
Young Harris led by double figures a majority of the second half, despite North Georgia making some runs to try and get back within single digits. The lead got up to as many as 23 points before settling at the 21 point win for the Mountain Lions.
NOTES
- Brown finished 4-for-7 from the floor and 6-for-7 from the free throw line. Shubert added 13, while 
Frank Champion came off the bench to score 13 as well.
- YHC's Alphonso Willis led all scorers with 25 points to go with his 12 rebounds.
- The Mountain Lions shot 9-for-23 from distance, while UNG shot just 2-for-20 from the three point line.
