SALISBURY, N.C. - Daniel Ostap claimed the match with his win at No. 2 singles as the No. 24 University of North Georgia men's tennis team claimed a 6-1 win over Catawba Sunday.
North Georgia cruised through the doubles point with all three duos claiming wins.
Ryan Gaskin kept things going with a quick straight set win at the top line in singles play, followed closely behind by
Paul Pahun at No. 3.
The Indians got on the board with a three-set win at No. 5, but North Georgia claimed the final three matches with Ostap's straight set win clinching the match.
Zack Waldow and
Yann Frezouls each earned wins as well.
The Nighthawks will be back in action at Tusculum on Saturday with first serves set for 1 p.m.
