AIKEN, S.C. - Despite five double digit performances, the University of North Georgia men's basketball team couldn't overcome a 29-point, 12-rebound outing from USC Aiken's Faison Brock as the Pacers beat UNG, 83-76, Saturday afternoon.
The Nighthawks jumped out to a nine point lead midway through the first half before USC Aiken started heating up, hitting nine of their 14 shots over the final 10 minutes of the first half to take a one-point lead into the break.
In the second half, the Pacers hit nearly 55 percent of their shots, giving USCA just enough to defeat North Georgia.

Zez Steeple led the Nighthawks with 15 points, with all of Josh's coming from behind the arc.
Ephraim Tshimanga added 13, and
KJ Jenkins contributed 11.
Zach Brown notched 10 points off the bench as well.
- Saturday marked the ninth time this season that UNG has hit double-digit three point attempts, nailing 11. North Georgia is 4-5 in such games.
- The Nighthawks took advantage of the nine USC Aiken turnovers in the game, turning them into 20 points.
