No. 9 Baseball Pushes Past Anderson, 7-2

DAHLONEGA - After a Crews Taylor homer in the bottom of the second, the No. 9 University of North Georgia's baseball team took over the game and sent Anderson home with a final score of 7-2 Tuesday night at Bob Stein Stadium.

Taylor hit a towering shot to the opposite field to put UNG up, 3-0, in the second before Anderson scratched a run across in the third to cut the lead to two. In the fifth, UNG used a Josh Profit sacrifice fly and a Conner Corbitt RBI single to extend the lead back out to four, 5-1.

The Trojans got one back in the seventh on a solo shot, but North Georgia got the last runs of the game in the bottom half of the inning on a Nick Clarno RBI double and a Jake Arnold RBI single to get to the final score.
