AIKEN, S.C. - In the regular season finale, the No. 11 University of North Georgia men's tennis team fell to No. 8 USC Aiken, 6-1, Monday afternoon.

Jess Jones won the only doubles match for UNG on the No. 3 line, winning, 7-6, shortly after the Pacers took the doubles point by winning the No. 1 and 2 matches.
On the singles side, the Nighthawks found themselves in four three-set matches but fell short in three of them. Jones dropped his first set, 6-0, before storming back with a 7-5 second set and a 6-3 third set to get North Georgia's only point of the match.
North Georgia now awaits the release of the conference tournament bracket. The Nighthawks will be the No. 5 seed in the tournament and will take on either USC Aiken, Lander or Flagler in the opening round of the tournament Thursday.
