DAHLONEGA - Scoring in all but the sixth inning, the University of North Georgia baseball team put up 15 runs against Emmanuel to cruise to a 15-5 win Wednesday afternoon at Bob Stein Stadium.
The Nighthawks gave up two runs in the top of the first, but UNG answered immediately with three runs in the bottom half, highlighted by a
Bill LeRoy two-RBI double.
UNG went on to score multiple runs in the third, fourth and seventh innings while putting up single runs in the second, fifth and eighth innings en route to the win.

Chase Sudduth went 5-for-5 at the plate with five runs scored and two RBI.

Cody Collett (2-0) earned the win in relief, throwing 4.2 innings while striking out four. He gave up just one run off three hits.
