DAHLONEGA - In a top-25 matchup, the No. 7 University of North Georgia men's tennis team fell to No. 24 Queens, 6-1, Sunday afternoon at the UNG Tennis Complex at Yahoola Creek.
The Royals got off on the right foot by earning the doubles point. Queens took the top two doubles lines before
Ryan Gaskin and
Hugues Renaud won at No. 3 doubles, 6-4.
Niklas Zielen won his singles match at No. 2 to tie the match up, but the Royals took the remaining five lines to clinch the win over the Nighthawks.
North Georgia will take to the courts again on Tuesday as they battle Newberry on the road.
