DAHLONEGA - After sweeping the doubles in confident fashion, the University of North Georgia men's tennis team went on to win five out of six singles matches to comfortably beat Tusculum Monday at the UNG Tennis Complex.
UNG made light work of the doubles action, with the biggest win coming from the No. 2 duo of Kevin Candido and Zach Waldow, winning by a score of 6-1.
Five singles matches were won in the third set, and the match was clinched when
Ryan Gaskin won at No. 3 singles in a 6-4, 0-6, 6-4 match.
The Nighthawks will be back in action Tuesday at home against Augusta in the PBC opener with play set to begin at 1:30 p.m.
