MORROW, Ga. - The University of North Georgia men's basketball team had 10 players finish with points in the scoring column, but Clayton State got out to a quick start and defeated the Nighthawks, 89-72, Wednesday night.
With the score in favor of the Lakers, 12-11, just five minutes in to the game, Clayton State went on an 11-0 run to take control of the game. From that point, the game never got closer than eight points as CSU coasted to the win.

Lanre Olatunji led the Nighthawks with 12 points and eight boards.
De'Undra Singleton finished with 10 points off the bench.
- UNG shot the ball as well as Clayton State from the floor (47.6 percent), but the Nighthawks made just 4-of-15 free throws in the game.
