| By:

Game Preview: The University of North Georgia men's basketball team will travel to Morrow to battle Clayton State before returning home for its final two home games of the season, starting with Saturday's matinee against Georgia College.

Nighthawks on the Web: Fans can follow UNG at home live on the Internet via live stats (UNGAthletics.com) and via web stream on YouTube or Facebook Live through the Nighthawk Sports Network. The game will also be simulcast on the radio home for UNG basketball, Glory 97.9 FM and AM 1330. Links for Wednesday's game can be found above. Fans can also follow the action through Twitter by following the men's basketball team (@UNGMBB).

Last Week: After falling to Young Harris in a shootout Wednesday afternoon, North Georgia upset No. 25 Francis Marion and No. 21 UNC Pembroke on back-to-back days inside the UNG Convocation Center

Scouting Clayton State: Clayton State is 8-16 on the year and 5-13 in league play, tied for ninth with the Nighthawks. CSU has lost four straight since beating Young Harris in a 121-115 shootout inside The Loch back on February 6. UNG defeated the Lakers, 80-65, nearly a month ago inside the UNG Convocation Center.

Scouting Georgia College: Georgia College is 14-10 on the year and 9-9 in conference action this season. The Bobcats have traded wins and losses in their past six games going into a matchup at Columbus State on Wednesday. The Nighthawks fell to GC on the road, 92-82, back on January 26.

PBC Individual Stats: Shawn Hopkins is sixth in the Peach Belt Conference in scoring, averaging 16.9 points per game. Jack Howard is tied for second in the league in three-point shooting at 46,7 percent for the year.

PBC Team Stats: North Georgia is second in the league in rebounding, pulling down 40.7 boards per game. The Nighthawks have the third best rebounding margin as well, pulling down 4.6 boards more than their opponents per game.

Peach Belt Tournament Scenarios: The Nighthawks are still in the mix for making the Peach Belt Conference tournament, but will need some help from the rest of the league. For the easiest path to the tournament, the Nighthawks need to finish with one more win than Columbus State. Currently, UNG is two games back of CSU in the standings, but, since the Cougars won both matchups this season, the Nighthawks must finish higher than CSU in the standings.

Nighthawk of the Week: After leading the Nighthawks to two upset wins, Ephraim Tshimanga was named the Einstein's Bagels Nighthawk of the Week Monday afternoon by the UNG Athletic Department. The junior averaged 15 points, seven boards and seven assists per game while shooting 54.3 percent from the floor.
