DAHLONEGA - Imani Arnold had a career-high 17 points as the University of North Georgia women's basketball took care of business, beating Francis Marion by 42 points, 89-47, Saturday afternoon in the UNG Convocation Center.
After the two sides traded baskets the first three minutes of the game, UNG went on a 14-0 run to take control of the game and never looked back. The Nighthawks led by 20 at halftime and, after a six point FMU third quarter, led by 39 after three quarters of play.

Tamera Thorpe led all scorers with 21 points on 10-of-14 shooting. Arnold's 17 was the most off the bench for either team, while
Julianne Sutton added 12 in 18 minutes of action.
- The 42-point win was the largest margin of victory for UNG since a 53-point win over Georgia Southwestern in the Convocation Center's first game.
- North Georgia was 37-for-75 from the floor, while holding FMU to just 17-of-67.
