ATLANTA - Carrod Watson scored a team-high 13 points as the University of North Georgia men's baskeball team defeated Morehouse, 69-63, Wednesday night at Forbes Arena.
The Nighthawks never trailed in the game, stretching a lead out to as many as 19 points with over eight minutes to play. The Maroon Tigers fought back, though, by cutting the lead to four with 18 seconds to play, but free throws by
Zach Cottrell kept the game out of reach down the stretch.
NOTES
- Watson finished a rebound short of a double-double, shooting 4-for-7 from the floor and 5-of-6 from the free throw line.

Zach Brown each added 12 points with Brown's coming off the bench.
- North Georgia shot nearly 49 percent from the floor while holding the Maroon Tigers to just under 33 percent shooting.
