DAHLONEGA - A 19-0 run was the difference as the No. 15 University of North Georgia women's basketball team beat Tusculum, 75-55, in the final game of the UNG Nighthawk Classic Saturday.
Both teams went back-and-forth in the early goings of the game, but the Nighthawks finished the first quarter on a 15-0 run to take a 23-12 lead after the first 10 minutes. UNG would start a 19-0 run with three minutes left in the first half that went through the next five minutes, extending the lead to 51-21 early in the second half.
From there, North Georgia was able to control the pace of play with the lead staying above 20 points the rest of the game.

Julianne Sutton led North Georgia with a game-high 19 points each.
Abbie Franklin finished with 18 points, while
Kara Groover ended with 10 points, eight boards and seven assists.
- The Nighthawks held a +13 rebound margin.
- UNG had 20 points off 13 Pioneer turnovers.
