MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. - A double-double from
Abbie Franklin helped the No. 18 University of North Georgia women's basketball team down Georgia College, 80-49, on the road Saturday afternoon.
The Nighthawks jumped out to a 27-15 lead after one quarter, including finishing the period on a 15-3 run over the final 5:30. From there, the lead never went back into the single digits with UNG stretching the game out to as many as 33 points before the final horn.
NOTES
- Franklin had 16 points and 10 rebounds to collect her first double-double of the season.
- Every Nighthawk that saw the floor finished in the scoring column.

Julianne Sutton joined Franklin with double figures.
- North Georgia held a huge rebounding margin, pulling down 22 more rebounds than the Bobcats.
