YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. - Young Harris set a new school record for threes in a single game, hitting 25 shots from downtown on their way to a 128-91 win over the University of North Georgia men's basketball team Wednesday night.
The game was tight early on with UNG holding a 7-4 lead just two minutes into the game, but Young Harris would press their foot to the gas pedal shortly after with a 13-2 run. The Mountain Lions continued to pull away throughout the half to take a 24-point lead into the locker room after Alphonso Willis hit a three as time expired.
From there, YHC continued the three point barrage, hitting 12 more shots from distance over the final 20 minutes of the game to take the big win.

Roderick English led UNG with a career-high 26 points in just 24 minutes of action. English also had a career high in shots made with 10, while recording season highs in threes made (2) and rebounds (6) as well.

Ephraim Tshimanga finished with 16 and
Shawn Hopkins had 10.
Zez Steeple came off the bench to finish with 10 points as well, all of which came from the free throw line (10-for-10). YHC's Justin Jones led all scorers with 35 points.
- While Young Harris hit 25-of-47 shots from behind the arc, UNG was able to just hit three of their 24 shots from distance.
