Game Preview: The No. 11 University of North Georgia women's basketball team will return home to finish out 2018 with two Peach Belt Conference games starting Monday afternoon against Flagler. North Georgia will then quickly turn around to battle Augusta on Wednesday afternoon.
Rankings: North Georgia is currently ranked No. 16 by the WBCA and No. 11 by D2SIDA in the latest polls released on December 11. The Nighthawks are a unanimous No. 1 in the D2SIDA Region poll.

Last Week: The Nighthawks bested Francis Marion in the PBC opener, 75-68. Abbie Franklin led three UNG players in double figures with a season-high 22 points. Amber Skidgel added 19 points.
Scouting Flagler: Flagler is 4-3 on the year but is in the midst of a two-game losing streak, not including their last time out in exhibition action against NCAA Division I opponent Bethune-Cookman. The Saints fell in their PBC opener to Clayton State in overtime, 87-76. Kierra Crane leads FC in scoring, averaging 13.3 points per game.
Series Versus Flagler: The Nighthawks are 11-1 against Flagler all-time after splitting the two matchups last season. UNG is 5-0 in Dahlonega against the Saints, winning by an average of 17.6 points per game.
Scouting Augusta: Augusta is off to a 1-5 start to the 2018-19 season going into a Monday matchup against Young Harris. In the middle of a three-game losing skid, the Jags have not lost by more than 12 points since the season opener against regionally-ranked Barton. Asia Harrison is the only AU player in double figures, averaging 12.5 points per outing.
Series Versus Augusta: North Georgia is 12-7 versus the Jaguars in the all-time series and have won three straight. UNG hasn't fallen at home to Augusta since January 7. 2016, a six point loss to the Jaguars.
PBC Stats: North Georgia leads the Peach Belt in rebounds per game and is third in scoring. UNG also commits the least fouls per game and is the second best shooting team in the league.
NCAA Stats: The Nighthawks are ninth in the nation in rebound margin, pulling down 12.4 more rebounds per game than their opponents.
