DAHLONEGA - The University of North Georgia men's basketball team won its fourth-straight game and improved to 7-7 overall with a 91-84 win over Augusta Saturday afternoon in Memorial Hall. UNG is now 5-3 in the Peach Belt Conference, putting them in a three-way tie for third place in the league.
With the game tied at 82-82 with two minutes left in the game, the Nighthawks buckled down defensively, holding the Jags to just 1-of-3 shooting over the final two minutes and forcing two turnovers in the process.

Tyler Dominy added 16 points off the bench, while
Ebo Smith contributed 12 points on four threes.
- North Georgia shot 24-of-34 from the free-throw line, marking the most foul shots made and taken in a single game this season.
- The Nighthawks drew a game closer to the Jags in the all-time series but still trail, 12-6.
