CENTRAL, S.C. – A three-run homerun by
Michael Bell sparked the No. 27 University of North Georgia baseball team's offense as the Nighthawks earned a 14-1 non-conference road win over Southern Wesleyan on Wednesday afternoon at SWU's Connor Field. The win moves the Nighthawks to 4-0 on the young season.
UNG blew the game open in the fourth with eight runs on nine hits include a trio of doubles and a triple by
Connor Hoover. A single run in the seventh on a RBI-double by
Michael Gouge and another Hoover triple in the ninth rounded out the scoring for North Georgia.
