DAHLONEGA - Tyler Dominy finished with a season-high 24 points, but the University of North Georgia men's basketball team fell short against UNC Pembroke, 80-74, Saturday afternoon in Memorial Hall. The Nighthawks are now 3-7 overall.
Trailing 59-40 with 14:41 to play, the Nighthawks clawed back, going on a 30-13 run over the next 12 minutes to cut the lead to just two, 72-70. The Braves hit the next two baskets, however, to pull away and hold on for the road win.
NOTES
- Dominy's 24 came off the bench as part of UNG's 31-25 advantage off the bench.
Shaquan Cantrell added 21 points to the cause, 18 of which came during the big Nighthawk run to cut the lead to two.

Lanre Olatunji earned his first double-double of his career, finishing with a career-high 10 points and 10 rebounds.
