ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - Ebo Smith posted a game-high 21 points as the University of North Georgia men's basketball team came-from-behind to defeat Flagler, 74-64, Saturday afternoon in Peach Belt Conference action. North Georgia improves to 3-5 overall and 1-1 in league play.
The Saints led by as many as 11 with 16:55 to play, but UNG chipped away at the lead from that point. Trailing 48-42, the Nighthawks went on an 18-0 run over 3:34 to take the lead for good. Flagler never got closer than seven points over the final nine minutes of play.
NOTES
- Smith's 21 points marks his first 20-point performance since February 10, 2016, in a game against Georgia Southwestern. His 21 points matches a career-high set in his freshman year against Georgia College.

Bennett Fuzak contributed 15 points, while
Colin Cotter and
Shaquan Cantrell also added double figures with 11 and 10 points, respectively.
- The Nighthawks were 11-of-23 from beyond the three-point line. Flagler shot just 2-of-11 from distance.
- UNG's win was the sixth straight against Flagler in the all-time series, leading 10-1 in the matchup. The Nighthawks have never lost in St. Augustine.
