AIKEN, S.C. | The University of North Georgia baseball team got out to an early 2-0 lead Friday evening in Aiken, but it wouldn't be enough to take the first game from the Pacers, as UNG fell, 3-2, in 10 innings. The Nighthawks slip to 13-10 on the year with a 6-7 mark in the Peach Belt Conference.
 
RBI doubles from Trevor Sams and Sam Tidaback would give the Nighthawks a 2-0 advantage in the first three innings, but the UNG bats fell silent after the third inning, just picking up one hit in the final seven innings of action.
 
The Pacers got on the board with a RBI single in the fourth and tied the game with a double driving in a single run in the eighth. A one-out double to right would end it in the bottom of the tenth.
 
NOTES
- USC Aiken out hit North Georgia 13-5 in the game.
 
- Brandon Agar went 7.0 innings allowing one run on nine hits and one walk with seven strikeouts in the no decision. Jacob Jones (0-1) was tagged with the loss in relief.
 
- Devin Gearhart was the lone Nighthawk with multiple hits in the game. Five of UNG's starters were hitless on the day.
