Hutchins' Career-High 35 Leads UNG Women's Basketball Past Montevallo, 93-76

MONTEVALLO, Ala. | Behind a career-high 35-point effort from Kelsey Hutchins, the University of North Georgia women's basketball team picked up a 93-76 Peach Belt Conference road win over Montevallo on Saturday afternoon in UM's Trustmark Arena.

Hutchins connected on 13-of-19 shots from the floor and pulled down a team-best nine rebounds for the Nighthawks.  It marked the 21st consecutive game that the junior forward has scored in double figures.

Leading by seven (64-57) heading into the final quarter, the Nighthawks put the win on ice by running away from Montevallo, 29-19, in the final ten minutes.

The win improves UNG to 15-8 overall and evens the team's PBC record at 7-7 while Montevallo falls to 7-14, 4-10 PBC.
